Mystic Hills is a cabin retreat set within the rugged landscape of Hill City, South Dakota. Raised on steel stilts, the structure takes cues from the mining history of the Black Hills, while rusted steel cladding will weather and change with the landscape over time.

NOMINN worked with BLOK Studio from early concepts through final visuals, developing a detailed 3D model to explore the form, scale, and relationship between the architecture and its surroundings.

The imagery focuses on the contrast between the raw materials and quiet landscape, and the way the elevated structure sits within the terrain.
